Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT-M) has always been at the forefront of technology and innovation. AI startup incubated in the institute has joined hands with a mission to create 1 lakh AI and deep learning experts. These startups are now working with One Fourth Labs setup by IIT-M professors.
One Fourth Labs is collaborating with AI startup, GUVI offers a platform for students in Tier 2, 3 cities to learn programming languages. The platform by GUVI will be a content partner for the joint initiative. It is open for every student who is strong in maths and programming. The IIT-M setup lab wants to offer AI training to students interested in exploring emerging technologies. GUVI aims to help IIT-M in creating an army of trained AI professionals by 2020.
Every student can participate in the advanced AI course at a nominal fees starting from Rs 1000, the fees for working professionals is set at Rs 5,000. There is a huge demand to learn AI and ML technologies but the supply of content is limited.
