Role Overview Description
We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer role in our product’s development and level up our frontend engineering practices. you will be responsible for designing & driving the development of high-quality, scalable, and secure web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to shape and implement innovative solutions that meet business requirements. You’ll ensure our platform remains efficient, scalable, and reliable as we scale and move fast.

Your Team:
You will be working within a small yet collaborative team, who care about each other and are always willing to help. There will be opportunities to work on a wide range of problems, which are always exciting and challenging and will be a part of building products that really saves peoples lives. In this role you will be reporting to the VP Engineering.

Requirements

Ideally, has startup experience, having developed the muscle to take extreme ownership of the results, leaving a lasting impact in the business.
Typically, at least 5-6 years of relevant experience.
Experience on Angular 13+ is a must.
Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, lazy loading, DOM optimizations and AJAX.
Strong understanding and experience with AWS Serverless technologies, including API Gateway, S3, and CloudFront.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
Experience working with Component Library tooling and/or design systems.
Experience with Angular frameworks, including but not limited to Angular Material, NgRx etc.
Proficient in use of Figma, and equivalent applications.
You have been responsible for performance benchmarking & tuning of customer facing web applications.
A team player who thrives in a remote, collaborative environment with strong communication skills.
A solutions-oriented individual comfortable with the fast pace of startup life.
Strong track record of at least 2 years of experience in practicing SCRUM framework, collaborating with scrum master, PO, designer, back-end dev, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Architecture and Design: Collaborate with the product and design teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and architectural designs.
Testing and Deployment: Implement automated testing frameworks and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure the quality and timely delivery of software releases.
Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to drive project success. Clearly communicate technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Overseeing the development of user interfaces, ensuring that they are visually appealing, easy to use, and responsive across different devices.
Actively participate in development activities, sprint planning and solutioning
Translating Figma designs into HTML/CSS/JS code.
Collaborating with back-end developers to integrate the frontend with the backend, ensuring that the application is fully functional and performs well.
Performing code reviews ensuring code is written to meet standards and is maintainable.
